Slow down, feed your soul

I woke early this morning at 5 to continue reading my favorite book so far this year, Educated: a Memoir by Tara Westover.  It weaves a true tale of strength, love, and resilience and the complex identity we form by straddling two worlds, our family of origin and the life we choose for ourselves. The writing is riveting and the book is hard to put down.   In this hectic time of year, take some time out for quiet contemplation on your own, in whatever way feeds your soul.
