Mindful Eating Workshop

Experience a new approach to eating, one that cultivates inner wisdom through mindful eating practices and guided meditations. Mindful eating can help us tune in to what our body truly needs. Through bringing gentle awareness and inquiry, we learn to honor hunger and fullness cues and to practice bringing curiosity, not judgment, to cravings so we can more skillfully relate to them. We also learn to slow down, be present, and delightfully savor our food.
In this introductory workshop, deepen your understanding of mindfulness as it applies to eating and joyful living, through sitting meditation, eating meditations, group discussion, and reflective journaling.
Location: Takoma Park, MD (address provided upon registration)
