OMG. This dish is so good. I doused the tempeh in a homemade sesame-ginger-garlic Asian marinade which made it sweet and pungent.
Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian "cake" made from fermented (cultured) soybeans. Unlike tofu which does not have much flavor of its own, tempeh has a nutty flavor and a firm texture. It is nice pan-fried just in a little olive oil, but adding a marinade makes it especially delicious. Read More
